New Breeder in Sutherland
We are delighted to welcome Murdo and Jason Ballantyne as our most northerley Breeders in Sutherland with as established Cheviot flock and a suckler herd they have recognised that there is a market for an easy to manage and fast growing terminal sire such as the Meatlinc. The fact that ewes mated to the Meatlinc have a reputation for lambing easily, and that the cross bred lambs, get up quickly and suckle, will be a major factor alongside carcase quality in helping local flockmasters to drive down costs and improve margins.
